Houston's revitalization
Have you noticed the number of media outlets touting Houston's charms? Spirit, American Way and Robb Report have all gushed about Houston's fab dining and cultural scene. Let me give the city it's due: Houston has incredible eateries, shopping and some of the best museums and theater productions anywhere. Yes, even to rival Manhattan. But Houston also has traffic from hell. The city's built into a swamp - without New Orlean's cool jazzy vibe - meaning it's simply hot, humid and full of mosquitoes. I grew up in this city. There's no doubt it has a lot to offer, but I think we need fair disclosure, people. Houston still has a problem. It's called weather.
